Twelve European clubs, six from South America, four each from Asia, Africa, and CONCACAF, and two from Oceania will compete in a World Cup-style format with group stages, knockout rounds, and a final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 13.
The draw has produced several blockbuster group-stage fixtures, including Real Madrid versus Flamengo, Manchester City versus Al Hilal, and Bayern Munich versus Boca Juniors. Indian fans will have a rooting interest with Mohun Bagan Super Giant qualifying as Asia's final entrant.
