Kevin Feige took the stage at a packed fan event in Los Angeles on Saturday to unveil the full Marvel Phase 7 slate, drawing the loudest cheers the franchise has seen in years. The announcement comes as Marvel works to recapture the narrative momentum that made the Infinity Saga a cultural phenomenon.
Theatrical Slate
The 12-film lineup includes two new Avengers films, a Wolverine solo movie starring the confirmed Hugh Jackman successor, and the long-anticipated "World War Hulk." The slate also features the introduction of several new characters, including India's first MCU hero in "The Immortal Ashwatthama."
Release dates are staggered at roughly one film per quarter, a deliberate slowdown from the oversaturation that critics blamed for superhero fatigue. Feige acknowledged that "quality over quantity" would define Phase 7's approach.
Disney+ Series
- "Daredevil: Resurrection" — a third season following the character's acclaimed return
- "Young Avengers" — assembling the next generation of heroes
- "Nova" — cosmic adventure introducing Richard Rider
- "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Dragon King" — animated limited series
"We heard the fans. Phase 7 is about telling fewer, better stories with real consequences. Every project connects to a larger narrative that will pay off spectacularly," Feige said.
The announcement sent Disney stock up 3 percent in after-hours trading, reflecting investor confidence in the franchise's commercial potential.
